The Irish Association of Dermatologists is offering two scholarships for medical students studying at a university in Ireland with an interest in dermatology to attend their Autumn meeting at the Johnstown House Estate, Enfield, Co. Meath on Thursday, 9th October and Friday, 10th October 2025. Scholarship recipients will receive complimentary registration, an invitation to the IAD conference dinner, and two nights' accommodation at the hotel. Recipient would be encouraged to bring along a poster presentation.

The Burrows Cup
The Burrows Cup is awarded to the best oral presentation of clinical / laboratory based / translational research. Abstracts submitted for the Burrows Cup should include a statement outlining the aim of the study, the methods used, a factual summary of results and a conclusion. Any abstracts that do not conform to this may be rejected by the scientific committee after the abstract submission deadline.
Case reports should not be submitted for the Burrows Cup but instead retained for submission for the Case Report Competition at the Autumn IAD.
There is scope for a small number of poster presentations at the Spring meeting. Please indicate when submitting your abstract for the Burrows Cup if you wish for your abstract, if not selected for oral presentation, to be considered for poster presentation. Submitters please note that the Scientific Committee may receive more abstracts than can be accommodated and your understanding is appreciated.
Please ensure that the box has been ticked indicating that the senior / supervising author has approved submission of the abstract or it will not be considered.
Please note that there is a 250 word limit on the abstract.
